Nellu ist ein nachhaltiges Refugium, tief verwurzelt in Keralas landwirtschaftlichem Erbe und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, um im Einklang mit der Natur zu leben. Erbaut aus recyceltem Holz, wiederverwendeten Tonziegeln und historischen Architekturelementen, minimiert Nellu Bauabfälle und bewahrt gleichzeitig traditionellen Charme. Die Villa wird teilweise mit Solarenergie betrieben, nutzt natürliches Brunnenwasser und sammelt Regenwasser, um Selbstversorgung zu gewährleisten.
Der angrenzende, drei Hektar große Bio-Bauernhof vereint Reisanbau, Obstbäume, Gemüse, Viehzucht und Aquakultur – ein sich selbst erhaltendes Ökosystem, das die Artenvielfalt fördert. Gäste sind eingeladen, durch die Felder zu spazieren, saisonale Produkte zu probieren und das Leben im Einklang mit den Zyklen der Natur zu erleben.
In Nellu ist Nachhaltigkeit kein bloßes Konzept – sie wird gelebt. Hier bedeutet Luxus Einfachheit, Reinheit und Verbundenheit mit der Erde.
