Die Campingplätze und Lodges an der Küste von Tanganyika sind das ganze Jahr über geöffnet. Die beste Zeit für ein Safari-Erlebnis ist die Trockenzeit von Juli bis Mitte März, von Mitte März bis Mai ist Regenzeit.
